We are pleased to invite you to our upcoming Allmøte (General Meeting) this November. The meeting will be divided into two main parts, featuring important organizational updates, a highly relevant guest lecture, and an open forum for our community.

Program

Part 1: Welcome & Guest Lecture

· Welcome and Introduction: A short introduction by our new Head of NORWEL regarding the move of the management to NTNU, Department of Social Work.

· Lecture: «Data Management and Storage in Research – What is Important Regarding Vulnerable Groups?»

o Speakers: Erik Axel (IT-UB, UiT) & Melanie Karlsson (University Library, UiT).

o About the lecture: Back by popular demand after a successful session in 2023, this topic remains very relevant for both PhD projects and general research. Drawing on their expertise at the University Library at UiT, Erik and Melanie will share insights and give practical advice on what to be aware of when developing your research project. If you have specific questions based on your own work, please don’t hesitate to ask!

Part 2: NORWEL Updates & Open Forum

· Community News: Information about new members and upcoming activities for the year ahead.

· Member Feedback & Discussion: We want to hear from you! We welcome your feedback on what matters most to our members in the coming years. If you have any topics, ideas, or experiences you would like to discuss or share with fellow «NORWEL-ers», this is your time.
