A recurrent topic at symposia, allm\u00f8te and more was the call for more physical meeting arenas. We are happy to announce two new funding opportunities for face-to-face meetings, both in conjunction with events organized by NORWELs new cooperating partner <\/em>FORSA<\/em><\/a>.<\/em> <\/p>\n\n\n\n

NORWEL-members now have the opportunity to receive travel support for <\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Norwegian and Nordic FORSA-conferences <\/strong> <\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    These conferences are alternately arranged in Norway and the following year in one of the other Nordic countries. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

    The next FORSA-conference<\/strong> will be held in \u00c5rhus, Denmark on 15. \u2013 17. June 2026. Registration is open \u2013 see https:\/\/forsa-nassw.via.dk\/<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    In conjunction with this event, we will organize a NORWEL<\/strong> post-conference<\/strong> on 18. June 2026. This day will give NORWEL-members the opportunity to present and discuss their ongoing projects. Travel support requires participation at the post-conference.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

    You can get refunded up to NOK 25.000 in travel support for the main and post-conference from NORWEL. To be eligible, you must attend both the main and post-conference and complete the form via this link: https:\/\/nettskjema.no\/a\/543306<\/a>  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

    1. Writing seminars in Metochi, Greece<\/strong> <\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

      FORSA Norge organizes each year a one-week writing retreat on the island of Lesvos in Greece. This is a great opportunity to get away from the daily routines and concentrate solely on writing. At the same time, you share the space with other scholars. Depending on how many NORWEL-members participate, we will organize a dedicated NORWEL session during the week. Travel support requires participation at this event. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
